When keeping up with appearances, she very much the sweet girl she already is, smiling and laughing often and knowing how to keep a light conversation going with others. Her conversation skills are beyond extraordinary and she never forgets a name to a face. Sharp and witty, yet with the grace and poise of a lady, Camille is a woman who knows how to balance her social life, personal life, and also her business life.
When Camille gets down to business, she's not your beat-around-the-bush type of girl. She'll say what she needs to be said and she'll make sure it follows through. Being born into this family meant more than just reverence and respect, it meant power, and power wasn't something to be kept if not enforced. Born on a bright sunny day in Tuscany, Camille was brought onto the world peacefully on the first day of summer. Ironically, peace was far from anything young Camille would experience during her childhood. Constantly surrounded by shattering vases, loud yelling, and the sound of her mother's crying calloused the young girl's heart at a very young age. Her father's love for her at times would be a new car or lavish gifts, other times, it would be a swift hand to her face. Despite this, she understood that he only wanted to best for her, and strived to always do her best to make him proud. Her mother, her pitiful mother, Camille loved her dearly despite the fact that she was the living proof of something that she never wanted to become. Camille never blamed her for becoming the woman that she was. Perhaps she couldn't handle her father, a man whom loved his work perhaps more than his family.
It came as no surprise when Camilla left Teodoro. She felt it was best for everyone in the family. Camilla could finally be happy and Teodoro wouldn't be with an unfaithful wife. Camille wasn't bitter toward the abandonment by her mother. In order to be abandoned, one must feel wanted in the first place. More media was placed upon the family and also upon the daughter. Camille was now the only woman of the household and was pressured to be both a socialite and the daughter to the man head of the Sergius winery.
As the young girl became a woman, she was very well aware of the hands that her father had his hands on, and also the bloody hands that were apart of his business. She kept her father grounded and saw him at his weakest. She stayed strong for him and began to help him around his business even before she had her high school diploma. While her brother was off in school, Camille was already making calls, setting events and meetings up, having tea with other powerful families, all the while driving her Ferrari or Lamborghini to go shopping on the streets of Milan being a girl that she was. She graduated two years early from her private school though all celebration was ceased when her father was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. At this, Camille called her brother home to be by the side of their father.
The eventual death of Teodoro hit Camille hard. Despite having several weeks to prepare herself for this, it was difficult for her to accept her father's death. After passing in his sleep, he was held an honorable and well respected funeral like he deserved. She made sure that all who was touched by Teodoro was there and those who were there simply for lip-service would stay out. She was her father's daughter, and she would carry out all of his wishes. When her mother came to the funeral, Camille felt relieved that she came. It had taken a considerable amount of convincing on her part to bring her to the funeral. She knew it was what her father would've wanted. She continued to keep in touch with her mother thereafter, going to lunch with her and shopping. Camille did all she could to fill the void that her father had left, though she knew it was all only temporary.
Before Camille even hit her twenties, she found the Sergius Winery fall into her hands. She knew she was ready for it, she always knew that this day would come. Camille knew all the things that went behind the scenes, she knew the dirty business and also the clean front that they put up. She knew how her father did his business and how he had remained so successful. Being beloved by the Italian community, the transition from brother to sister wasn't a tough one and Camille began to run the company smoothly.
Camille had all that a woman her age could ever want. Fame, wealth, power, even a celebrity boyfriend. However, what she lacked was family. Her mother once more began to drift and her father was gone as her brother. Unable to cope by herself, Camille came up with a business plan to extend Sergius to France and the United States, competing with the best and expanding the company. With this excuse, Camille has come to New York, her chin held high, her face plastered over several celebrity magazines, and the company in her hands.
